Studio Manager, Multimedia and Immersive Technologies

UNSW Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Studio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations division, you will be responsible for supporting students, researchers, and staff across the university in the use of multimedia and immersive technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with diverse university groups to gather feedback and refine AV and immersive technology applications.
- Facilitate feedback loops by organizing regular meetings and forums to collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders.
- Coordinate showcases and arrange demonstrations of new AV and immersive technologies.
- Promote the research and development of the studio process.
- Enhance external collaboration by developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners.
- Provide multimedia and immersive technology guidance and support to UNSW lecturers.
- Support the continuous deployment of audio-visual system installations.
- Provide on-site guidance and coaching to audio visual team and team leaders.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience in the operation, maintenance, and installation of audio visual and immersive multimedia systems.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in specialized multimedia systems and immersive technologies.
- Experience and current ability to record and edit sound and video.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and resolve conflicting priorities.
- Superior problem-solving skills with complex audio visual and multimedia systems.
