Childcare Services Director

The role of a Childcare Services Director is to lead and manage a team of educators in delivering high-quality care and education to children.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with school staff, parents, and the broader community.
  • Plan and deliver enriching programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Manage compliance and administrative tasks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a natural leader who is passionate about creating engaging experiences for children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of educators to achieve program objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in leadership and management roles within childcare services.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude. They should also be qualified or studying towards an ACECQA approved qualification.
