Role Description

Sustainability Assurance Manager / Senior Manager

This pivotal role shapes the future of assurance in a rapidly evolving field. It involves leading the development, implementation and enhancement of sustainability assurance methodology in line with Australian Standards on Sustainability Assurance Engagements (ASSA).

  • Develop and maintain high-quality methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance to practitioners.
  • Collaborate with audit and assurance teams for effective application of assurance methodologies.
  • Lead and mentor experts in sustainability assurance.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory and standard-setting environments.
  • Support learning and contribute to thought leadership projects.

About You:

  • Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Economics or Business majoring in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Chartered Accountant Qualified (or equivalent).
  • Excellent accounting knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing and reviewing sustainability assurance engagements.
  • Range of client expertise.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
