Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Trades Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform facility, tooling and asset maintenance & cleaning as required.
  • Assist Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in aircraft and component maintenance and refurbishment as required.
  • Ensure all work performed by you is to the highest standard and in accordance with the appropriate approved data.
  • Carry out exterior and interior cleaning of aircraft in maintenance and operations as required.
  • Conduct assorted workplace housekeeping and ad-hoc duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Proven self-starter with flexible attitude.
  • Demonstrated hand skills or trade experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a four day week & occasional overtime.
  • Working knowledge of OH&S procedures.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card.
