HumeLink is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, delivering a ~140 km western section of the high voltage transmission network. The HumeLink West scope includes delivery of new 500 kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140 km from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new substation at Gugaa, with an Interface Point to HumeLink East near Gundagai and a future connection to Snowy 2.0.

We are looking for Electrical Trades Assistants to join our team on site.

What will a day in this role look like
  • Assist tradespeople with substation works
  • Hand tools to tradespeople, and hold tools not immediately required
  • Perform assembly and dismantling operations, such as screwing and bolting
  • Obtain store supplies necessary to complete a set task, including materials and suitable tools
  • Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches
Qualifications And Experience Required
  • White Card
  • Driver's Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence – Work Platform
  • Working at Heights/Confined Spaces
  • High risk work licenses for EWP, forklift or telehandler (Desirable)
  • Ideally experience working on a substation
