Key Responsibilities:- Develop custom radiation test setups to validate avionics hardware performance.
- Design and implement radiation test automation, data collection, and data processing systems.
- Collaborate with radiation test facilities to schedule and perform tests, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and update Blue Origin's radiation test database to track test results and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of radiation-tolerant systems and circuit design guidance for space missions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field, with 2+ years of direct radiation experience in design, analysis, and/or testing.
- Hands-on experience performing component/system radiation effects testing and employing measurement hardware.
- Basic understanding of radiation effects on electronics and electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute to a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion.
- U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Graduate degree in related engineering or technical field, with 3+ years of direct experience in radiation design, analysis, and testing of avionics hardware.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, NI LabView, and embedded software.
- Familiarity with radiation environment modeling tools, radiation transport codes, and commercial or automotive parts in radiation environments.

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays. Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
