Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Accountant will be to oversee a range of project and management accounting activities, encompassing financial and management accounting deliverables, budgeting and forecasting tasks. This includes acting as the client-facing finance focal point, escalating issues, and collaborating with clients to achieve resolutions.

  • Client facing finance focal for the contract; escalating issues and working with the client for resolution
  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly client and internal management report/dashboard and analysis
  • Ensure completion of various month end deliverables in a timely manner
  • Collaborate closely with project controls to ensure timely completion and analysis of budget and forecasting activities
  • Provide financial insights on project performance to assist Senior Management in decision making
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on monthly results
  • Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and accounting standards
  • Review accruals as required and take necessary action accordingly

This role requires experience in indirect taxes, withholding tax.

Requirements:
  • Accounting Degree and qualified CPA/CA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Oil & Gas/Construction project accounting experience is essential
  • Able to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical context
  • Professional demeanor, interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience working with EBA
  • Team working skills
  • Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Good business partner for operational divisions
  • Proficient in process reviews, change management and process integration
