Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a valued member, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly individuals to live independently at home.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide essential domestic assistance such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation for clients.
  • Assist with personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to brighten someone's day.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car is essential.
  • You must be available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers).
  • Commitment to our paid 2-week training program at the start of your employment.
  • No prior experience working in disability or facility/nursing home required.

  • Hourly Rate: $30.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time.
