What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the CCN (Coffs Clinical Network) Clinical Director of Medicine, the Network Director for Emergency Medicine, and the CCN Director of Medical Services, the GP VMO for BRDH will provide comprehensive clinical care within the Coffs Clinical Network, particularly at Bellinger River District Hospital (BRDH). The GP VMO will also support educational initiatives for the Coffs Clinical Network and the GP Training Hub at BRDH.

The General Practitioner may be responsible for:

  • Emergency patients and on-call overnight duties for the Emergency Department and BRDH
  • Inpatients in acute and long-stay wards as an admitting medical officer
  • Both Emergency/on-call and Inpatient responsibilities

This is a Category A position. Applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy before an offer is made.
