About This Opportunity

This is a temporary part-time role for a Registered Midwife until 1 June 2027.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver women-centered maternity care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced clinicians to achieve high-quality, people-focused care.

Essential Requirements
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife.
  • Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in caring for women and babies.
  • Effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be required to work at a rural health service.
