Job Title: Registered Midwife

The Registered Midwife provides high-quality maternity care to women, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver personalized and compassionate service.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled maternity professional to provide expert care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. You will work closely with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver woman-centered maternity care in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written, and verbal means.
  • Maintain commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain competence and enhance skills through ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife.
  • Demonstrated competencies in caring for women and babies in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
