Are you a credit management professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Portfolio Manager to join our team on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with our client, managing their debtor's portfolio and ensuring compliance with our credit policy. As a proactive individual, you will implement sound credit control practices, manage debtor accounts, achieve credit control targets, monitor customer credit limits, and liaise with collection agencies when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage debtor accounts
  • Achieve and maintain credit control targets
  • Monitor customer credit limit
  • Liaise with collection agencies when required
  • Daily payment allocation and reconciliation of Head office bank account
  • Making bad debt provision as per the company credit policy
  • Staying up-to-date with company credit control processes and implementing improvements where necessary

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Debtor management and debt collection experience
  • General ledger reconciliations experience
  • Accounts Receivable and general clerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with data entry experience into a centralized system (D365 preferred)
