Job Title: Systematic Global Macro Research Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our Systematic Global Macro Hedge Fund team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing quantitative support, managing systematic quantitative models, and delivering solutions for quantitative investment challenges across various asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative models to support investment decisions
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement systematic trading strategies
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities and risks in global markets
  • Communicate complex ideas and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Strong tertiary qualifications in an Applied Mathematical discipline (e.g. Physics, Statistics, Actuarial, Econometrics or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Quantitative team within the Financial Services domain (advantageous)
  • Technical skills in MATLAB, R, Python, C/C++/C# or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills to present and work across teams
