Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our team of experts. As a Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing statistical models to analyze and predict market trends. Your work will involve collecting and analyzing large datasets, developing and testing hypotheses, and collaborating with our team of portfolio managers and researchers to identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement statistical models to analyze and predict market trends
  • Collect and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and researchers to identify opportunities for growth
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our research and trading strategies

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in finance, computer science, mathematics, physics, or other quantitative discipline
  • 3-7 years of experience in alpha-driven quantitative research for equities, futures, fixed income, credit, and/or FX
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in programming languages such as C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, R, Python, or Perl
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research utilizing large data sets
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently, with a strong passion for problem-solving and a desire to learn and grow
