About this Role:

This role involves engineering support for renovations, upgrades, retrofits, modernizations, and repairs. To achieve quality goals and standards, it is essential to collaborate with the site quality team.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction projects, including programming, commissioning, validation, and equipment installation;
  • Conduct design reviews and life cycle analysis;
  • Support sterilization equipment installation, maintenance, and repair;
  • Oversee operations of sterilization, building automation, and HVAC systems;
  • Manage facility maintenance contracts;
  • Collaborate with the Global Energy Team on energy needs and sustainability goals;
  • Participate in global initiatives on renewable energy;
  • Cross-train staff and provide technical guidance on facilities operations;
  • Implement commissioning and validation procedures;
  • Work with EH&S teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Required qualifications include a BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field, with at least 5 years of engineering experience. Knowledge of EPA and DEM regulations, experience with preventative maintenance, and proficiency in MS Office Suite are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management (PMP) or Facilities Management (FMP or CFM) certification;
  • Experience with air pollution control and sterilization equipment;
  • Background in medical device, pharmaceutical, or GMP environments;
  • AutoCAD skills;
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
