Established earthmover tyre management solutions provider seeks a highly skilled field service technician to deliver exceptional on-site services at our Mt Thorley mine.

About the Role

This role involves providing continuous support to the workshop, office, stock, and personnel by working with minimal supervision, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and enhancing tyre fitting skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Client personnel in mine operating areas for regular pit and tyre inspections.
  • Utilizing opportunities to conduct site services.
  • Maintaining high quality and service standards for the Client.
  • Ensuring the work area remains clean and tidy before shift changeover and performing daily housekeeping tasks.
  • Leading by example to ensure compliance with site and company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Implementing effective tyre management practices to boost mine productivity and tyre lifespan.
  • Providing operator tyre awareness and training.
  • Assisting in generating weekly plans based on field inspections.
About You

The successful candidate will possess significant experience in fitting heavy earthmoving tyres and demonstrate the following:

  • A valid light vehicle driver's license (Class C).
  • Current Work Safe / High Risk Forklift Ticket.
  • Certificate II in Automotive (Mechanical - Tyre fitting and repair Heavy).
  • At least two years of earthmover tyre fitting experience.
