Production Coordinator Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our team in Canberra. The successful candidate will be responsible for Supply Chain management, available stock of materials, and logistic and purchasing activities to support the team working on trains as part of a Retrofit project.

  • Warehouse activities, including process control and capacity assurance.
  • Responsible for the receipt, storage, custody, preparation, and dispatch of materials.
  • Assign tasks and manage Warehouse Technicians, ensuring compliance with standards and correct development of work.
  • Coordinate with Planning Engineer to meet quality targets and deadlines.
  • Inventory of stock material.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Key Quality Functions:
    • Inspect and meet Quality assurance in production processes.
    • Management and correct handling of measurement equipment to meet standards.
    • Development of technical documentation for control activities.
    • Review and manage process control records.
  • MATERIAL RECEPTIONS:
    • Input Management of materials (transport communication).
    • Documentation management (delivery note).
    • Quantitative and Visual inspection in reception.
    • Ensure correct material location in warehouse.
  • Data Management in ERP:
    • Input material into the system from origin warehouse.
    • Output material into the system from local warehouse to the line.
  • DELIVERY MATERIALS TO THE LINE:
    • Promote delivery of kits and materials according to OMFs.
  • IMPORTS:
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager in CAF on imports.
  • Other Duties:
    • Comply with responsibilities assigned in processes and ensure compliance in terms of Quality, Product Safety, Health, Safety and Environment Risk Prevention.
    • Aktively participate in promoting health and safety in the workplace.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
