Keegan Adams Lending Specialist Job Description

Keegan Adams is partnering with a leading Australian brokerage to hire a Lending Specialist for their Sydney-based team.

This critical role involves working end-to-end on the mortgage process, ensuring client needs are met and standards are maintained. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and maintain a close relationship with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the loan process from introduction to settlement, guiding clients through the process and ensuring all necessary financial documents are obtained.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulations and laws to ensure the business remains compliant and all necessary checks are completed.
  • Monitor the local market and competitors to understand new mortgage products, service offerings, and changes to interest rates to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships both internally and externally to provide expert advice on mortgage options, repayment strategies, and terms, ensuring the process runs efficiently.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Proven experience in writing loans and managing mortgage applications, ideally obtained from a past role as a Lending Specialist.
  • Attention to detail is crucial, along with excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to multitask to ensure multiple deadlines are met.
