Job Summary

The Career Development Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and promoting early career development practices to achieve success through excellent stakeholder relationships and continuous service improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the annual graduate/cadet intake, in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Team, to ensure intake is aligned to business requirements.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all graduate-related activities.
  • Coordinate interim/final assessments for completion of graduate and cadet development programs and feed outputs into the operational promotions process.
  • Develop and maintain reports, briefing notes, and correspondence on the development/progress of skill assessments, technical training completion, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Coordinate events, workshops/sessions, and resources through collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to support a diverse array of professional development opportunities.
  • Support and facilitate the delivery of internal development activities/sessions.
  • Proactively develop and sustain stakeholder relationships across the business to ensure successful delivery and development of Early Careers.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
  • Comply with the requirements of Turner & Townsend's Business Management Systems, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management, associated with the role and position within the company.

Requirements

  • Professionally qualified in a relevant field (preferable).
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Solid understanding and experience in supporting delivery of Graduate programs.
  • Experience in managing projects and programs, from inception to delivery.
  • Understanding of, and connection to, relevant university partners and professional organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent administrative, reporting, and organizational skills with proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, establish priorities, and meet required deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success in the coordination, preparation, and delivery of workshops and presentations.
