Price Data Specialist

About the Position
This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and reviewing master data in SG Fleet systems, including vehicle pricing & data from third-party providers. The position involves producing commercial pricing initiatives, sourcing vehicle discounts, and completing mid-lease changes. Additionally, the role assists in the development of robust data validation practices to ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of vehicle and pricing data.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and maintain the relevant fields of Master Data in SG Fleet operating systems.
- Maintain and monitor SG Fleet Pricing modules, implementing updates in operating systems and developing relevant tools outside.
- Assist in auditing tools that sit outside SG Fleet operating systems and monitor customer-specific requirements to ensure they comply with business rules.
- Analyze and report on existing pricing methodologies and structures, providing insight into continuous improvement.
- Assist in completing timely, accurate mass quotations and loading sale and leasebacks, fleet takeovers, and assist in the tender process for new vehicles.
- Complete timely reviews and manage changes to calculations and pricing, ensuring the system produces accurate costings for make/model data, leasing services costs, and mid-lease changes.
Requirements
- Strong technical/numerical skills with the ability to work with, understand, and analyze financial data.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work within tight timeframes and report progress regularly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership and follow up issues to resolution in a timely and effective manner.
- Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with good listening and probing skills.
- Critical analysis and problem-solving skills, with resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability.
