Dispatch Clerk Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to effectively manage consignments, orders and communicate with transport companies for efficient stock delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing consignment logistics for timely deliveries
  • Processing orders for out-of-stock items with utmost priority
  • Collaborating with transportation providers for smooth dispatch and delivery of inventory
  • Providing exceptional customer service by answering phone calls and resolving customer queries efficiently
  • Occasionally assisting with voice picking of orders
  • Occasionally operating a high-reach forklift for stock replenishment purposes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid forklift license with experience in high-reach operation
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities
  • Team player with leadership skills and experience
  • Advantageous to have knowledge of warehouse inventory control
