Job Description

Clinical research plays a vital role in advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering clinical research activities in close collaboration with Principal Investigators, Co-investigators, and the research team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical research activities, ensuring timely start-up, smooth running, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the research team to meet recruitment targets and timelines.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including your team, research leads, Principal Investigators, and centre staff.
  • Perform clinical tasks, such as vital signs, ECGs, venepuncture, medication management, and maintain data-entry proficiency in a timely manner.
  • Process samples, coordinate sample collection, and dispatch as required.
  • Prepare for and host monitoring and close-out visits.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory, administrative, and clinical frameworks relevant to research, ensuring compliance with SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study protocols, and applicable laws and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical research coordination, preferably in nursing, science, or Phase 1 research, with an equivalent undergraduate degree.
  • Strong computer literacy with knowledge of clinical trials software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High initiative, flexibility, and the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities.
