This is a vital role for any professional seeking to utilize their skills in electrical asset management, coordination, and planning.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive 10-year asset management plans and forecasts for renewals, upgrades, and capital works across the metropolitan and inter-city electrical network. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver these projects on time and within budget.

  • The successful candidate will be required to develop asset management plans for the electrical distribution, traction power, telecommunications, and supporting systems such as fire safety systems and subsystem distribution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate quarterly internal Asset Strategy Councils and external Joint Planning Committees. Prepare agendas, present updates, and ensure collaborative decision-making.
  • Conduct site visits across the network to assess asset conditions, identify issues, discuss solutions, and rectification work. Translate insights into comprehensive asset management plans and present strategies to stakeholders for endorsement and implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to deliver asset planning projects on time and within budget.
  • Participate in activities such as Fire Life Safety Forums and contribute to the development of asset management policies and procedures.
