The RoleThis is a full-time, Continuing position within the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture, reporting to the Head of School. As a Lecturer in Theatre and Performance, you will contribute to teaching, supervision, and research at undergraduate, Honours, and postgraduate levels, as well as undertake professional, industry, and community engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver high-quality learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their best.
- Conduct classes, assess student learning achievements, and support students in postgraduate and undergraduate courses.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to teaching and learning, working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain and develop expertise in teaching and learning, including curriculum design and delivery, assessment, and feedback.
- Participate in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and conference presentations, to maintain and develop expertise in the field of Theatre and Performance Studies.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and learning, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality learning experiences.
- Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline or have equivalent experience.
- Have a strong understanding of contemporary theatre and performance practices, including histories, theories, and methodologies.
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
UNSW offers a competitive salary range of $123,620 - $145,730, plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading. You will also be part of a dynamic and supportive community of academics, researchers, and staff, with access to world-class facilities and resources.
