Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Academic Quality Coordinator to join our team at UNSW Australia. As a key member of the Academic Quality team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategy, leadership and governance of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning.



Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $104,440 per annum (Level 6), plus 17% Superannuation contributions and additional leave loading payments (pro rata).



Job Description



  • Support the development and implementation of the Faculty's educational strategy through the coordination of Academic Program Reviews and other projects.
  • Apply, interpret and advise on policies, systems, manuals, rules, procedures and guidelines relevant to Teaching Support activities across the Faculty.
  • Manage Faculty timelines and processes relating to the publishing of the UNSW Handbook, course offerings and the Enterprise Course Outline System (ECOS).
  • Work with Deputy Heads of School/Directors of Learning and Teaching and Teaching Support Officers to ensure accurate Clash Free Course Combinations (CFCCs) and Enrolment Requirement Groups (ERGs).
  • Maintain, support and coordinate results processing as it relates to late entry results, changes, disputed marks and unresolved marks.
  • Compile data and reporting relating to Academic Quality, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be considered for this role, you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship and have:



  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge gained through education, training and/or experience.
  • A high-level understanding of course coordination, handbook requirements, Teaching Support logistics and program administration.
  • Proven experience working with different university systems, particularly in relation to program and course curriculum management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and identify gaps in service.
  • Expertise in computing skills, including Power BI, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
