Retail Systems Estimator Opportunity

Metricon Homes, a leading multi-award-winning new home builder, is seeking an outstanding individual to join their team as a Retail Systems Estimator. This role is located in the Baulkham Hills Office within the NSW Operations Retail Systems Estimating team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish retail prices in accordance with company margin and cost schedules
  • Coordinate and contribute to the operational and production process for all options
  • Develop and document business requirements with stakeholders and develop systems to support agreed requirements
  • Define system requirements and liaise with the Software Development department (IT) to implement
  • Coordinate acceptance testing
  • Ensure all retail upgrade options have a mini-bill produced via ordering system tools, ordering method of measure, and/or ordering process
  • Ensure all retail upgrade options have a direct build cost available in ordering and/or retail system
  • Provide support and liaise with relevant departments

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications in the building/estimating field
  • 3 years or greater experience within the Residential Building Industry
  • Knowledge of the Sales, Workflow, and Construction processes
  • Working knowledge of the Building Code and regulations
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
