Leadership Opportunity in Horticulture

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team in the role of Garden Maintenance Team Leader. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement schedules to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning and fertilising.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • White Card
  • Valid Drivers' license
  • Ride on mower and trailer experience
