The Role

We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant - Stylist to join our team at our NEW Yarra Trail David Jones Marion site. As a Stylist, you will work as part of a successful team to create a genuine shopping experience for every customer, acting as a passionate brand ambassador for Yarra Trail and Brand Collective businesses. You will understand our customers' needs when offering styling advice and recommendations and develop effective relationships in doing so.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to store sales by selling passionately on the shop floor
  • Ensure store presentation is immaculate through adhering to our visual merchandising standards
  • Work towards achieving an exceptional customer experience by communicating product knowledge of apparel and accessories
  • Adhere to a well-organised stock room and use ladders to retrieve stock from a height (comfortability doing so is a must)
  • Assist your Manager with various administration and store maintenance duties including cleaning as required
Requirements
  • Customer service experience (retail experience desirable, although not essential)
  • Ability to flex your hours as per business needs
  • Enthusiasm for creating modern, authentic service experience for our customers
  • Familiarity with styling outfits that leave customers feeling relaxed, confident, and tailored to their needs
  • Experience with stock control and VM (comfortability in lifting up to 10kg unassisted)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and listening skills
