About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Christmas Casual Retail Assistant to join our team at Elka Collective in David Jones Adelaide. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of store presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a unique and personalized shopping experience for customers, ensuring excellent service standards and fostering a loyal clientele.
  • Actively sell on the shop floor, contributing to the store's sales and KPI targets.
  • Ensure store presentation is immaculate, adhering to our visual merchandising standards.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge of apparel, footwear, and accessories.
  • Assist in managing and replenishing stock, contributing to a well-organized stock room.
  • Support the Store Manager with various administration and store maintenance duties, including cleaning as required.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and embody the Elka Collective culture.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a boutique setting.
  • Upbeat, energetic, and motivating, with the ability to make the best of any situation.
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service and unforgettable shopping experiences.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A great listener and user of feedback constructively.
