Logistics Coordinator

This is a dynamic role for an experienced Logistics Coordinator who can drive the efficient and timely processing of export products. Key responsibilities include receiving, dispatching, and monitoring stock levels to ensure accuracy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily receipt and dispatch of all export products.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of stock levels against actual physical stock.
  • Process incoming and outgoing goods efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality control.
  • Pack sea containers safely and efficiently in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate freight through external providers to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Document all sea and air containers as required.
  • Manage time effectively to meet freight and documentation deadlines.
  • Process credit notes and invoices for supplier payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive and record goods into the Fresh System promptly.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure that incoming export products are of good quality and adhere to best-before dates.
  • Conduct quality inspections of fresh produce goods when requested.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Control and manage pallets accurately.
  • Assist with consolidation tasks as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.

Qualifications and Licences:

  • Forklift License
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Previous experience in warehousing and logistics
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
