As a CT Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centred care and performing cannulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our organisation.
About The Role:- Main Responsibilities:
- Performing cannulations and providing patient care while adhering to our organisational policies, procedures, and protocols
- Analysing request forms and assisting staff to ensure the appropriate examination is performed to obtain optimal information
- Consulting with colleagues and radiologists as needed
- Supporting CT Radiographers, nursing, and clinical staff by preparing patients for imaging examinations, including manual handling and positioning
- Assessing bookings and workflows proactively to maximise efficiency, while remaining flexible to accommodate urgent cases and walk-in patients
- You must have proven ability in cannulation or relevant experience in venepuncture
- Experience managing scheduled appointments and ensuring seamless workflow is essential
- Strong verbal communication skills are required
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities are necessary
- Familiarity with radiology imaging systems (e.g., COMRAD, PACS) is beneficial but not essential
- A valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain it is mandatory
- Ability to interact professionally with patients, team members, and other stakeholders is crucial
