Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.


The role is responsible for providing maintenance and repair services for all control, instrumentation, and monitoring systems across the power station.


As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will play a vital part in ensuring the optimal operation of these systems and contributing your technical skills and operational expertise to work with the Technician Team Leader and other key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide priority breakdown maintenance and support to ensure the optimal operation of control, instrumentation, and monitoring systems.
  • Diagnose faults, resolve defects, and conduct routine maintenance on plant systems.
  • Create, implement, and document software and hardware modifications for plant systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of plant modifications and prepare training materials for skills development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Advanced trade skills and hands-on experience with power station equipment.
  • Fault diagnosis and technical problem-solving for complex control systems.
  • Effective communication, safety awareness, and ability to work independently.
