About the Role

The Aide to the Governor will provide high-level administrative and personal support to the Vice-Regal couple at official engagements. This includes planning events that align with the Governor's constitutional, ceremonial, and community responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with communities and organisations to plan events
  • Provide on-the-ground administrative and personal support to the Vice-Regal couple
  • Play a central role in planning and delivering the Vice-Regal Program
  • Coordinate and communicate across the organisation and with key stakeholders

Requirements

We are looking for an exceptional individual with an aptitude for supporting a high-profile, public-facing role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Aptitude for working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and sound judgment when making decisions
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of protocol procedures relevant to the role
