About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead our event delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing onsite clients and overseeing on-ground event execution.

The role requires flexibility to work a variable roster, including days and nights. Physical capability is necessary for venue preparation.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Venue/Event Management or related field, or proven experience in a similar role within the industry
  • Previous knowledge and experience in major events
  • A current and valid driver's licence
  • A current and valid forklift licence in the relevant state
  • A sound understanding of WHS requirements
  • Experience/exposure with ushering and/or crowd management
  • A proven history of being punctual and reliable with an outstanding work ethic
  • The ability to manage and address client concerns in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • The capacity to work both autonomously and within a team environment
