- Provide strategic leadership to 15,000 nursing and midwifery staff nationally
- Develop and implement evidence-based nursing practices
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Director Clinical Governance on clinical governance initiatives
- Lead workforce optimisation, professional practice development and recruitment strategies
The successful applicant will possess a deep understanding of professional nursing and midwifery practice, coupled with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
Required qualifications include: current AHPRA registration as a nurse or midwife, a postgraduate qualification in health, business or management, and at least 10 years' experience in nursing and leadership roles.
