We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Product Merchandiser to join our team at Salt Recruitment in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for effectively merchandising all new and existing product ranges across our web and app platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Product Categorization and Content Optimization: Ensure all products are categorized effectively and product content is SEO optimized to drive sales and improve customer experience.
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, shopping behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data from Google Analytics to inform product decisions and optimize product listings for better performance.
- Continuous Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize product listings, landing pages, and navigation across all platforms to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the purchasing and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of product strategies and effective communication of product information to stakeholders.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or VM experience in-store with a passion for ecommerce.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data with a high level of numeracy to inform product decisions.
- Communication Skills: Engaging and influential communication skills to effectively communicate product information to stakeholders.
- Autonomy and Responsibility: Self-motivated and able to prioritize workload effectively with high attention to detail, working with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
