Financial Officer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Officer to join our team at a leading workwear and safety retailer in Ballarat. This role can be part-time or full-time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate clear communication with key stakeholders, including external accountants and government regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare financial accounts, including trial balance, and report BAS and PAYG to the ATO.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and state payroll laws.
  • Generate management reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Qualifications and/or experience in bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Xero.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
