Business Tax Advisory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Tax Advisory Manager to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our Business and Tax Advisory team, you will provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to clients, including small to medium-sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts, and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle-market clients.
- Play a key role in client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.
- Partner with clients to provide proactive advice and support, beyond annual compliance.
- Develop into a mentor to assist less experienced team members and encourage their continued professional development.
- Experience in tax, accounting, or business services in a similar environment at the Manager (or equivalent) level.
- Ability to keep up to date with changes to taxation law and accounting standards.
- Solid tax and accounting technical/systems capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Client-centric approach and ability to understand clients' business needs.
