Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Manager to join our Business & Tax Advisory team in Townsville. As a Manager, you will provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium-sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts, and partnerships.
You will further develop your technical expertise working across services, including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle-market clients. You will play a key role in client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.
You will be a strategic advisor to your clients, providing proactive advice and working alongside them to achieve their business goals. You will also develop into a mentor to assist other team members and encourage their continued professional development.
Requirements
- Experience in tax, accounting, or business services in a similar environment at the Manager level
- Ability to keep up to date with changes to taxation law and accounting standards
- Solid tax and accounting technical/systems capabilities
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Client-centric approach and ability to understand clients' businesses
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as CA or CPA (or equivalent)
