About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to join our Business and Tax Advisory team in Townsville.

As a Senior Advisor, you will provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries and small listed entities.

You will further develop your technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle-market clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to clients
  • Develop technical expertise in tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work
  • Play a key role in client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders
  • Be a strategic advisor to clients, providing proactive advice and working alongside them
  • Develop into a mentor to assist other team members and encourage their continued professional development

Qualifications:

  • Experience in tax, accounting or business services in a similar environment
  • A passion for ongoing learning
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • An ability to establish and develop effective professional relationships

We will consider those who are commencing, are mid way through, or have completed the CA / CPA program.
