Health, Safety and Environmental Leader

Job Description:
As a Lead HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for driving health, safety and environment excellence across an organisation where everyone is accountable for these aspects. This includes coaching and mentoring supervisors and managers on building a strong culture of accountability and identifying potential risks.
You will also work closely with local and regional health, safety and environment teams as well as subject matter experts on specific risks relating to an oil and gas supply base. Additionally, you will provide support to and participate in emergency response arrangements, including the development and maintenance of procedures and training.
Other responsibilities include developing and delivering awareness and workforce engagement programmes as required. You will focus on the health aspects of health, safety and environment, especially mental health promotion among staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree or NEBOSH or Cert 4 in OHS Certificate or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience related to HSE background
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
