Operational risk and resilience are critical components of any organization's overall strategy. As a Risk Resilience Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in operational risk and resilience, preferably gained in financial services, large corporates, or regulatory environments. Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk, finance, economics, compliance, or related disciplines are also highly valued.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of influencing senior leaders to invest in operational risk and resilience initiatives. They will be able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organization, providing strategic oversight and guidance.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder engagement skills. You will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of business continuity planning, third-party risk, and operational disruption scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational risk and resilience frameworks and practices.
  • Provide Line 2 oversight of controls across business continuity, incident response, and third-party risk.
  • Monitor and report on operational risk effectiveness across departments.
  • Partner with Line 1 stakeholders to embed risk accountability and ownership.
  • Deliver training and awareness programs to uplift organisational capability.
Experience & Capabilities:
  • Around 10 years' experience in operational risk and resilience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk, finance, economics, compliance, or related disciplines.
  • Strong track record of influencing senior leaders.
  • Ability to build trusted, strategic relationships.
  • Recognised subject matter expertise in operational risk and resilience.
  • Demonstrated innovation in Line 2 risk practices.
  • Solid understanding of business continuity planning.
