Job Description:

As a senior leader in the design department, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of innovative and sustainable HV substation and renewable energy project designs.

This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary design teams across various disciplines to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

You will be responsible for managing the design process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring seamless project execution through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

A key aspect of this role is interface management across all project stages, including monitoring and reporting on project performance metrics such as cost, quality, and schedule.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to align project outcomes and drive business growth.

Candidates should have a degree-qualified background in electrical engineering or a related field, preferably with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or progress towards chartership.

Over 10 years' experience in managing HV substation and renewable energy project designs is required, with a strong technical knowledge of HV substation design, eBOP systems, protection and control, and SCADA integration.

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to mentor junior engineers and adapt to fast-paced and complex project environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or progress towards chartership
  • Over 10 years' experience in managing HV substation and renewable energy project designs
  • Strong technical knowledge of HV substation design, eBOP systems, protection and control, and SCADA integration
