We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our Corporate Procurement Team as an Assistant Director.

">Job Description

The Assistant Director will be responsible for leading a small team of procurement professionals in delivering high-quality procurement and contract management outcomes. This includes providing expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes, managing the development and continuous improvement of ACCC procurement policies and processes, and participating in formal procurement and contract management forums and committees.

This is a key role within the organization, requiring strong leadership and strategic skills to drive business outcomes and improve procurement practices.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth Government procurement framework
  • Experience undertaking end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports
  • Leadership and mentoring skills, with ability to develop and manage a high-performing team
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and strategic directions
