The Company

Our client is a reputable industrial electrical contracting company with a strong focus on automation and engineering. With a combined 40 years of industry experience, the management team has a deep understanding of industrial installations, breakdown support, and preventative maintenance in South Australia.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Completing installation and testing tasks within project scope, timeframes, and budget parameters.
  • Conducting initial site inspections, including environmental inspections.
  • Completing all testing procedures and Certificates of Compliance before energisation.
  • Assessing labour and material requirements, developing plans for each project brief and budget that minimise downtime.
  • Maintaining and submitting company mandated records and documents.
  • Regularly consulting with Team Leaders, electricians, contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
  • Fuel card and Vehicle allowance (for a fit-for-purpose vehicle).

Key Requirements:

  • SA Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Experience in industrial Electrical work.
  • Basic Electrical tools.
  • Class C Drivers' License and reliable vehicle.
  • LVR, CPR & EWP Licenses.
  • Proven ability to work well autonomously and in a team setting.
  • Technical expertise and ability to induct, advise, and train team members.
  • Experience working on electrical installations and testing and commissioning systems.
  • Experience working to safety codes and standards and the ability to apply them to electrical installations.
