Industrial Electrician

The Company:

Our client is a industrial electrical contracting company with Automation and Engineering capabilities. With a combined 40 years of industry experience, the management team utilised their knowledge to deliver outstanding and have a sound working knowledge of Industrial Installations, breakdown support, and preventative maintenance in South Australia.

The Role:

• Complete installation and testing tasks within project scope, timeframes, and budget parameters.
• Conduct initial site inspections including environmental inspections.
• Complete all testing procedures and Certificates of Compliance before energisation.
• Assess labour, material requirements, develop plans for each project brief and budget that minimise downtime.
• Maintain and submit company mandated records and documents.
• Regularly consult with Team Leaders, electricians, contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure project is on track and variations or complaints are quickly actioned.
• Temporary to permanent position for right candidate
• Fuel card and Vehicle allowance (for fit for purpose vehicle)

What you'll need to succeed:

• SA Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Experience in industrial Electrical work
• Basic Electrical tools
• Class C Drivers' License and reliable vehicle
• LVR, CPR & EWP Licenses
• Proven to work well autonomously and in a team setting.
• Technical expertise and he ability to induct, advise and train team members.
• Experience working on electrical installations and testing and commissioning systems.
• Experience working to safety codes & standards and the ability to apply them to electrical installations.
