Key Geospatial Expert Role

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and dynamic geospatial professional to collaborate with leading experts and fast-track their career. The role is a 12-month parental leave cover, allowing you to work on city-shaping projects across sectors.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Geographic Information Systems (or equivalent) and working knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS and A.G.O.L as well as the Microsoft desktop suite.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with consulting staff to highlight the benefits of GIS analysis for client outcomes.
  • Create visually appealing maps that adhere to corporate branding and client requirements.
  • Support geo-processing tasks, including complex spatial queries for map display and data extraction.
  • Demonstrate strong cartographic skills and contribute to the review of mapping templates and styles.
  • Assist in data creation, maintenance, and geocoding for project-specific and corporate spatial data needs.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of GIS products delivered to the wider business.
