About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Benevolent Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough functional assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized plans.
  • Deliver occupational therapy services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement client plans, ensuring effective monitoring and reviews.
  • Liaise with medical and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Coach and advise team members and carers on best practices and strategies for supporting clients.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops to promote client engagement and empowerment.
  • Attend meetings and maintain accurate documentation to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.

Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Passion for supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Current driver's license, with access to pool cars.
