Operational Readiness Manager

As a seasoned leader, you'll take charge of managing our extensive network of responders across NSW, VIC, and ACT. Your primary focus will be on ensuring operational readiness by overseeing the full responder lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, manage mandatory training schedules, and maintain accurate records to guarantee operational readiness
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that enhance responder capability and confidence
  • Monitor responder performance and maintain a high level of preparedness to deliver exceptional support
  • Build and manage on-call rosters to ensure adequate coverage and clear communication within the network
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and assessment processes to grow and strengthen the responder team
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including team management, training, and operational process oversight
  • A proven track record in managing compliance, accreditation, and readiness programs
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to frontline teams and senior stakeholders
  • The ability to lead and influence without direct authority, building trust across a dispersed workforce
