
Senior Clinical Team Leader

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and deliver best practice mental health services. As a Mental Health Therapy Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing mental health services, supervising junior members of the team, and leading a multidisciplinary clinician team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and Supervision: Provide clear direction and effective communication to team members, lead and promote continuous quality improvement by identifying and addressing barriers to effective care, support the Allied Health Manager with recruitment and on-boarding of clinical staff, and facilitate training, professional development, and supervision for clinical team members.
- Therapeutic Services: Deliver therapeutic services to patients with a broad range of psychopathology, including psychoeducation and skills-based sessions, possess strong risk assessment and safety planning skills, work collaboratively with psychiatrists, and other allied health/nursing clinicians and leaders, attend and contribute towards multidisciplinary team meetings, and possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Appropriate recognised qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Mental Health Nursing.
- Appropriate Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional bodies.
- 10+ years of clinical experience with significant experience in the mental health sector.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- High level of computer literacy skills.
- Extensive experience delivering a wide range of therapeutic modalities.
- Experience in group facilitation within therapeutic frameworks.
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Full vaccination against COVI9-19 and Influenza.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Board-Approved Supervisor status.
